Cardiac Insufficiency Unit

Multidisciplinary unit for comprehensive care of patients with heart failure. It is formed by the internal medicine, cardiology and nutrition departments, nurse educator and cardiac rehabilitation department. The treatments are performed on an outpatient basis in an external consultation, in a day hospital or with admission if necessary due to decompensation that cannot be managed through the outpatient service. Other s pharmacologic therapeutic reconciliation, rehabilitation, telephone access to health education and patient training in self-care.
