The risk of picking up diseases varies according to individual susceptibility, the ry and zone visited, the time of year, the type of trip and its duration. Therefore, the consultations at the travel units are personalised and it is recommended that they be scheduled for a minimum of four to five weeks prior to travel, since some vaccines are not immediately effective.
